Mike, from Starpulse got the privilege of sitting down with Adrienne for a little 1on1 Q&A. She talks about growing up on the Lower East Side, how she broke into the industry and her new gig hosting “New Afternoons on MTV”.Mike: So, you’re going to be the new face of the afternoons on MTV, how did that come about?Adrienne: … Growing up in New York I was the biggest MTV fiend. I would rush home from school and go stand outside of TRL with my posters or just to go home and watch TRL. So to be a part of the MTV family, for me, is just such an honor and it’s kind of like the next step. Disney is the teens and MTV is, to me, the teens and young adults and that’s definitely where I am.[ SOURCE ]

Leoti school in Wichita, Kansas won the National Health Contest. They have a torn up gym as it is under construction but it didn’t stop the kids from going for it. They raised more money than any other school across the country. They are using the money to purchase portable play equipment.As a reward for their hard work, not only will they be able to purchase the equipment, but they will be getting a visit by our very own Cheetah, Sabrina Bryan. She’s going to teach them some new moves and talk to them about what it means to live a healthy lifestyle.”The kids, when they heard the news, were jumping up and down and squealing, it’s just something really special that we’re glad is coming to our community,” McKinney said.”It’s pretty amazing, she’s a really good dancer and she’s really pretty,’ said eighth grade student Kassandra Baker.“It’s most important in your life so you can stay healthy and fit and not become overweight,” said seventh grade student Shay Reah.For these kids, having a Hollywood star visit their small town is a dream come true.”I think it’s really cool that a celebrity is going to come to town in Western Kansas,” said sixth grade student Treven Burch.”I’m really excited for her to come here,” said eighth grade student Neil Fletcher. “It’s a big thing for Leoti.”[ SOURCE ]Also, don’t forget to tune into Tyra on tomorrow.
